The Project
Two new build houses, both with four bedrooms, were required to be built to be sold. Both houses were built with a low carbon footprint and finished to a very high specification.
The project involved removal of asbestos from the bungalow that stood on the site by specialist contractors and demolition of the bungalow before construction of the new homes could start.
The quality of construction achieved Local Authority Building Control warranty standards and windows and joinery of Saunders Brothers’ own manufacture was used throughout.
The use of air source heat pumps and high levels of insulation meant the houses were eco-friendly and economical to run in terms of energy costs.
